Day 1 of Testing in Valencia

                                     

On the 1st day of testing at the track in Valencia hundreds of thousands of peoples anticipations were met as Valentino Rossi emerged as the 2nd rider on the track on his new Ducati Desmodici Gp11, Sporting black and day glow yellow leathers to match his Carbon fibre unpainted bike. Rossi`s best time so far after 26 laps was 1`35,134 placing him in eigth position.

Another eagerly anticipated debut to a new bike was Casey stoner on his Honda, He left the repsol garage with his new RC212V draped in his native country`s patriotic colours and got straight out to a great start on his new machine putting in a best effort of 1`34,342 placing him third.
His new team mate Dani Pedrosa led mid ways through the 1st day of testing while trying out a new frame, followed closely by Gresini Honda rider Marco Simoncelli who was using the same frame as last years RC212V.
Newly crowned world champion Jorge Lorenzo opted not to go out on his YZR-M1 midways through the testing session!
