2010 Moto Gp season wrapped up in Valencia

The 2010 Moto Gp season came to an end yesterday in Valencia Spain, in an extremely exciting race where at one point it looked like everyone was shooting for a victory! Some noteable moments was the battle between the new-to-form Marco Simoncelli and current World Champion Jorge Lorenzo, where lorenzo was almost launched off his YZR-M1 after getting too close to the Italian Rookie. Also Nicky Hayden Slid out at over 100mph in turn 1 while setting a blistering pace in 2nd position!
Casey Stoner led for much of the race and looked like he would shoot off into the distance but after a very impressive comeback Lorenzo overtook the Australian and finished his home race in 1st, a fitting way to end a remarkable season for the 23 year old Majorcan and new World Champion!
Casey Stoner finished second with Valentino Rossi finishing 3rd! Both of whom will be leaving their current teams for next season, Stoner will be riding a third Repsol honda with Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso, Valentino Rossi will be taking over Stoners Desmodici and joining forces once again with former world champion Nicky Hayden!
