Stoner Takes Pole Position for Last Race of 2010

After an exciting end to day 2 in Valencia, Casey Stoner will start his last race for Ducati in Pole position! He was the only rider to run a sub 1.32 lap all weekend with a 1.31,799 which left him 0.331 seconds clear of closest rival Lorenzo. Marco Simoncelli took the last place on the front row, His first top 3 qualifying in the premier class!
Valentino Rossi managed to qualify fourth on the grid despite a difficult day one where he had problems with grip, not a dream way to start his final race for the yamaha team but if he starts well he should stay in touching distance with the leading 3. Americans Nicky Hayden and Ben Spies complete the third row!
Despite the title already being in Jorge Lorenzo`s hands there are still big scores to be settled with Stoner and Rossi moving teams and unresolved rivalries which are sure to continue into next season!
Lets hope its a belter! :-)
